Throughout this year there are two very nice workshops with relation to quantum computing (in a broad sense) scheduled to be held here in Vienna:
- 2nd Vienna Symposium on the Foundations of Modern Physics 2009 (June 11-14 2009)
This conference is really a theoretical physics conference. With regards to quantum computing this will be a venue to meet with well-known QC researchers such as Scott Aaronson and Bill Wootters. - Workshop on Quantum Computation and Quantum Spin Systems (August 10-14 2009)
This workshop is hosted by Frank Verstraete and Barbara Terhal (et al.) and features the who-is-who in quantum computing as speakers.
